Eventually, you will discover people who actually thrill to your observations about your work. Often those people are writers too, and they may want a fair exchange on the deal. Artists in general will understand the highs and lows of the creative journey and can make great sounding boards for ideas, plot points and storylines.

The internet is a fabulous place for tracking down chat groups and websites that cater to writers. If you absolutely don’t have any other outlet, it can be a lifesaver. But, it can eat up your writing time too, like nothing else on the planet! So be wary….
